As a kid I was pretty sheltered form the world and grew up mostly [[Following the heat]] and doing stuff for fun. Then at some point I grew up (?) and now I have to do a bunch of not-fun stuff. A lot of this stuff isn't organized or cataloged, and nobody taught me how to do it. You have to figure it out on your own. If you don't do these things, they will become screaming attention monkeys that occasionally make you feel great shame for your inaction. Things like: - Healthcare (at least in the US...) - Life Insurance - Car Insurance - Dental Appointments - Writing contracts - Paying taxes - Investing money - Going to the DMV - Getting a passport - Employing people In addition to the tasks being difficult, they are often messy and it isn't clear if you're doing a good job. If you outsource them then you have two problems: 1. You don't understand the work, but you are still liable for downside risk. 2. You don't know how to evaluate if the person helping you is doing a good job. All these things are "Adulting". If these things were turnkey, it would be a great good.
